01

The opportunity should be easier to use.

Demand-response programs can pay businesses for reducing electricity use during a small number of high-demand periods. Finding the right program and running it safely is the hard part.

Peak Pilot is being built to remove the research, engineering, and coordination burden that keeps smaller businesses from participating.

02

More of the payment. Less of the overhead.

We are testing a managed service that makes the economics clear before asking a business to invest.

    Find the opportunity

Match your location and electric use with available programs, then screen out options that are unlikely to be worth your time.

    Use what you already have

Start with safe, temporary changes your team can make using existing equipment and operating routines. Consider upgrades only when the numbers support them.

Your building.
Your limits.
Your call.

Peak Pilot is not being designed to take autonomous control of your equipment. You approve the plan, decide whether to participate, and can stop or skip an action whenever operations require it.

No equipment project first

We look for value in your current building before adding cost.

No mystery economics

Potential payments are shown as ranges with assumptions.

No loss of control

Your team approves every operating plan and keeps stop authority.

04

Built around real businesses, not energy jargon.

We are talking with business owners and operators about what would make demand response worth the effort, which costs get in the way, and how simple the experience needs to be.

05

The practical questions.

Who is Peak Pilot for?

We are initially learning from small and midsize businesses with meaningful electricity use, including warehouses, light industrial facilities, retailers, schools, and other commercial buildings.

Would I need to buy new controls or equipment?

Not to start the evaluation. Peak Pilot first looks for safe opportunities using your existing equipment and operating routines. Any future upgrade should have a clear business case before you spend money on it.

What would Peak Pilot cost?

Peak Pilot is free to use. There is no subscription or upfront fee. When your building earns money through demand response, we pay you by ACH or mailed check.

Does Peak Pilot control my building?

No. The current product direction keeps people in the loop. Your team approves actions, retains local authority, and can stop or skip an action whenever operating conditions require it.

Does joining mean my business will qualify or earn money?

No. Program availability, eligibility, events, performance, and payments depend on location, electric use, program rules, and third parties. Any future estimate should show its assumptions and a realistic range.

What happens after I join?

We will send occasional product updates. If you check the optional box when joining, we may also contact you to provide feedback and beta test the app.
